1. I think you made us watch this episode because it referred a lot to xenophobia. The girl thought that her new neighbor was a terrorist, mainly because he was middle eastern and acted quite weird. It later turned out that she had nothing to be afraid of. We can relate to this story in our society where xenophobia for other people is very usual.

2. I think it depends. For people on my and my classmates' age i think it is a good way. Many people that relates to such matters, maybe they have been bullied, raped or something like that probably don't want people to make jokes about such topics. Therefore i would say that you have to be careful when you make fun of serious matters, but if you do it right it can absolutely be a good thing.

Moneyball

Moneyball was a captivating and exciting film, and I am glad I watched it. What I liked the best with it was the script which was both clever and funny and made the film worth watching. The unbelievable but true story is also one of the biggest pros of the film. The story is about the manager Billy Beane, the baseball team Oakland athletics that need to replace several of their biggest stars, but the team’s economy suffers. Billy meets an analyst played by Jonah Hill, which finds undervalued players. They reshape the team and go through lots of ups and downs (most downs).  

The acting is great and Brad Pitt is great in his role as the ambitious and eccentric manager. Jonah Hill’s character on the other hand is very shy and doesn’t really say that much, but he also delivers a fantastic role. They both have been nominated for several awards. 

I consider myself a movie lover and I watch several movies a week, and I can frankly say that this is one of the best I have seen in the last weeks. There is not much bad to say about it, even though the film is quite long you just want it to keep going on. 

The dialogue and cinematography along with the stunning performances and an incredible sound editing is some of the factors that make this film based on a fantastic story so brilliant. I will recommend it for anyone that wants to watch something different than all the huge blockbuster films out there.

Why i liked The Curious Case of the Dog in the Night Time

I liked the book a lot because it was cleverly written so that it felt like it was a real kid with Aspergers syndrome that had written it. The fact that it’s not is probably the thing I liked least about the book, because I originally believed that it was. The author have been working with kids that have the diagnose and that’s the reason it feels real. “I said” and “He/ she said” are both very usual ways to start lines in the book because it is a common symptom for people with Aspergers to explain almost everything in detail. In this case this is shown by him telling which person who is talking at all time.

He also writes incredibly long and explaining sentences, which for me makes the book more interesting since it feels like a real person with Aspergers syndrome. Some people would probably say that it makes the book hard to read, but this way of writing is what makes the book special.  The story itself would not be enough to keep some other book interesting, but seen through the eyes of Christopher, the main character, it gets much more exciting. That is because everything feels so strange and different for him and he thinks in a completely different way than “regular” people does.

Many people think of people with the disease of people that act and talk in a different way than others, Christopher does but since it is written in a 1. Person point of view we get to know his thinking patterns and why he acts the way he does.

I would recommend the book for people that wants to read a very original book with a very different twist.
